You might be wondering who I am or maybe you stumbled here by chance. Either way, it’s good to have you here!

My name is Kohanna and I’m a 21-year-old folk singer/songwriter. I was born in Arizona and raised in the DMV (not the car place). I spent my freshman year of college in Nashville and am now spending my last year in Boulder, Colorado #skobuffs:)

I first sat down and learned piano at the age of five. Flash forward six years and I picked up the guitar. Music has been my way of capturing my own life experiences, as well as the stories of those around me that I've had the privilege to witness and share. It gives me the ability to capture the adventures, the quiet moments, the loud moments, and everything in between. I like to think that a lot of the way that I play is inspired by Janis Joplin, and the way I write comes from The Lumineers.

But the ultimate goal isn’t just to play music. I want to create experiences and add to your life story. Over the years, from my first gig at Cat’s Eye Pub in Baltimore to my first real show in Nashville, I've come to realize that music is more than a few notes and words intertwined. It’s inevitably about connection.
