Who am I?

I grew up split between the backroads of Northern Virginia and the soul of Baltimore City — two places that couldn’t be more different, yet somehow both shaped the way I write, sing, and see the world. The music I make falls somewhere in the Americana lane: equal parts grit and heart, full of stories that live in between country, folk, and soul.

Virginia gave me roots — in the storytelling of Emmylou Harris, the grit of Jason Isbell, and the legacy of The Carter Family. Baltimore gave me soul — through Donny Hathaway, Etta James, Bill Withers, and whatever was spinning on my parents’ stereo. Both gave me stories. And that’s what I try to pass on in every song.

I started playing piano when I was five. Picked up a guitar in fifth grade. Then came the songs, the poems, the scribbled notebook pages. I played my first gig at fourteen — tucked into the corner of The Cat’s Eye Pub in historic Fells Point, Baltimore, with a borrowed mic and a heart racing out of my chest. That place has been around since 1975 and still has my name Sharpie’d on a dollar above the bar. Thanks, Tony.

Since then, I’ve played all over the country — small stages, big stages, solo sets, full band. But wherever I am, my goal stays the same: don’t just perform at people — build something with them. Let the story take over. Let the music move through me and out to you.

I spent a year studying songwriting in Nashville, then moved to Colorado to finish my degree in marketing (because I wanted to really understand the business behind what I love). I spent the past three years playing around Colorado and the summers back east playing shows in Virginia, Maryland, and D.C., and this August, I’m heading to Austin, TX — ready to give this dream a real shot, full-time.

This site is a little map of that journey — the music, the shows, the stories, and all the pieces still in progress. Whether you’re here because you like the music, want to book a show, or just feel like we’d get along - I’m glad you found your way here.

A Few Places I’ve Been.

Swing by some of my favorite local spots. Over the past eight years, I’ve played hundreds of shows at venues of all kinds - breweries, wineries, coffee shops, listening rooms and concert halls - each with its own character. These are some of the places that have stuck with me. Stop in for the tunes, stay for the atmosphere, and make some memories.
