Poetry for now. Production soon.

Verse

Whatcha gonna do when the road gets rough?

Who you gonna seek when the times get tough

Would I find you on the highway, on the side of the road -

Would you let me take your bags and…never let you go?

Who you gonna phone when the lines all blow?

When the telephone wires are covered with snow

Would you let me pick you up off of I-70

Grab the cash, take the wheel and…ride along with me

Pre-Chorus

and you say, pick me up

and you say, where we going?

and you say, I don’t know him

and you say, and you say

Chorus

Pick me up!

Where we going?

Colorado!

I don’t know him

(x2)

Verse

What do think they’ll do when we’re gone by dusk?

When the wrappers of hunger are the remnants of us?

Will they hunt us like bloodhounds, will they worry too much?

Or they’ll leave us to fate and the road will carry us.

Pre-Chorus

and you say, pick me up

and you say, where we going?

and you say, I don’t know him

and you say, and you say

Chorus

Pick me up!

Where we going?

Colorado!

I don’t know him

(x2)

Bridge

Hey pastor - whatcha say, where you going at the end of the day? (x4)

Chorus

Pick me up!

Where we going?

Colorado!

I don’t know him

(x2)
