Sentient

Poetry for now. Production soon.

Verse

Is it too soon to leave? She asked of the living room

Living versions of me

Prints of the people we’ve seen - parents we’ll be

He said Amy you see, I don’t have no body

Just rooted in thieves and the stories they leave

Chorus

It’s time to go - when you talk to the walls, and the walls have a pulse, little girl

You call them ghosts - but you’re haunting the halls of the house that’s letting you go.

Rent’s overdue

Somebody’s new, car’s in the drive

Won’t recognize you

Stay and you’ll turn into a disguise

Post Chorus

Look at your eyes and say your goodbyes

Old living room.

Who are you?

Verse

The doors blowing in

He watched her blow away with it

Just another guest

Amy, mystery, solving, human, problem, child, let me, house you

Once more

Chorus

It’s time to go - when you talk to the walls, and the walls have a pulse, little girl

You call them ghosts - but you’re haunting the halls of the house that’s letting you go.

Rent’s overdue

I’m talking to you, Amy please, don’t cry

Look at your eyes, who are you?

Outro

Amy, mystery, solving, human, problem, child, let me house you

Amy, mystery, solving, human, problem, child, let me house you

Amy, foolish, love you, stupid, I’m no human, but I’m useful

Who are you?
